Ajith’s Next Film – ManKatha
Thala Ajith Kumar’s (next) 50th film was reported to be directed by Gautham Vasudev Menon who directed vinnaithaandi varuvaaya. But kollywood is expecting ultimate star ajith’s next movie Mangatha to be directed by Venkat Prabhu. Ajith’s call sheet is owned by Cloud Nine and that the movie will be directed by Venkat Prabhu and not Gautham. The movie is set in the backdrop of Mumbai’s Dharavi slums and the movie is titled as Mangatha. Mangatha, the name itself sounds very typical slum. Hope there will be a good treat for Ajith’s fan. First human to be infected with computer virus :O
A British scientist says he is the first man in the world to become infected with a computer virus.
Dr. Mark Gasson from the University of Reading contaminated a computer chip which was then inserted into his hand.
The device, which enables him to pass through security doors and activate his mobile phone, is a sophisticated version of ID chips used to tag pets.

Reports from Kollywood say that Vijay could be banned from acting in films. Investigations revealed that the Theatre Owners’ Association is calling for an emergency meeting on May 22nd 2010 to discuss this issue.
According to a source, the theatre owners in Tamil Nadu are demanding that Vijay act in a film to make good the losses they had incurred in screening his films.

Mangalore-Dubai bound AI plane crashes, 160 Feared dead
A Mangalore-bound Air India Express plane overshot the runway at Mangalore Airport at 6.30 am this morning. At least 160 people are feared dead.
The Boeing-737 coming from Dubai burst into flames soon after it overshot the runway while landing at the airport, said eye witnesses.
As many as 25 ambulances and firefighters have reached the spot and rescue efforts are on. Karnataka home minister VS Acharya told a TV channel: “There were 169 passengers on board, including four infants. Six or even of them may have survived.”

Ranjitha to quit from public life and get settled in kerala
Following the controversial sex scandal allegedly involving God man Nithyananda and Tamil actress Ranjitha, the latter’s advocate has issued a press statement which says that Ranjitha has decided to quit public life and spend time with her family in Kerala.
According to the note, the actress was led into severe depression after the leaked video clippings which caused her to take the decision. It also states that Ranjitha was not questioned by the Karnataka police.
