Cigarettes might be infectious

The tobacco in cigarettes hosts a bacterial bonanza — literally hundreds of different germs, including those responsible for many human illnesses, a new study finds.
“Nearly every paper that you pick up discussing the health effects of cigarettes starts out with something to the effect that smokers and people exposed to secondhand smoke experience high rates of respiratory infections,” notes Amy Sapkota of the University of Maryland, College Park. The presumption has been that smoking renders people vulnerable to disease by impairing lung function or immunity. And it may well do both.

South Africa arrive in India for Test series

Mumbai: The South African team arrived here on Sunday to participate in the Test series against India next month.
The visitors are scheduled to play two Test matches and three One-day Internationals after an only warm-up game.
The two-day warm-up game against Indian Board President’s XI will begin in Nagpur on Tuesday, followed by the first Test at the same city from February 6.

2. Navigate to the key HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Contro l\
3. Find a sub key inside it named “StorageDevicePolicies”. If it does not exist there then we need to make it. Right click on “Control” key -> New -> Key. Name it “StorageDevicePolicies” without quotes.

Motion Controller

Sony Corp, the electronic giant has announced that it would unveil its new “motion controller” for the PlayStation 3 video game console in late 2010.
The new device will compete with Nintendo’s hit Wii console and Microsoft’s project natal.
The new controller will have a camera installed over the console and tracks players’ movements. The motion sensor will be copied by onscreen characters using swords to tennis racquets, guns and baseball bats, the company said.
